General Description
A warm and spacious 2 Bedroom apartment - sleeps 4 to 6 people.

The location of the self catering apartment proudly holds the best spot, right in the centre of the development situated on the first level with only one set of stairs leading to the apartment entrance terrace opening.

Stunning views of the mountain, pool and tropical gardens can be enjoyed from the balcony terrace accessible from the lounge and main bedroom. For your comfort and enjoyment there are sun beds and table and chairs.

Car parking is available in the grounds and accessed via electronic gates. There is also a brilliant bus service which is available around the corner and the magnificent beach is only a 5 minute walk away.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
2 bedrooms with ceiling fans, fitted wardrobes and bedding provided - sleeps 3 in each. A double bed and single bed fit comfortably in both rooms.

1 bathroom comprising bath/shower, bidet, toilet and mirrored cabinet.

Living Areas
The welcoming lounge/diner has two sofas, TV, DVD, dining table and chairs and air conditioning with sliding doors leading to the balcony.

Kitchen / Dining
The Dining Area has a table and chairs and there is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, all crockery, dinnerware, pots, pans, tea towels and utensils.

Utility Room
Just off from the kitchen there is a large utility room which has a washing machine, cupboard, ironing board, iron, big freezer, cleaning equipment, laundry airer and hot water storage tank.

Outside
This holiday accommodation has a balcony accessible from the lounge and main bedroom.

For your comfort there are sun beds and table and chairs so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain, pool and tropical garden.

Location
La Mata is a beautiful complex and situated on Mojacar Playa, a beautiful 6 mile stretch of beach. A private development with views to the mountain, communal pool and tropical gardens. Many local amenities of wonderful restaurants, bars, golf courses and children`s play parks. There are many popular outings to explore including the astounding Markets, Garrucha (fishing port – lovely), Vera (bull fighting), Mojacar Village (fantastic), Go karting, Quad biking, Scuba diving, Horse riding, Water sports, Mini Hollywood, Mini golf, Aqua Park, Cabo de Gata National Park and children’s parks all along the playa.

Apartment with Swimming Pool and Garden
There is a gorgeous communal swimming pool and gardens at your disposal.

A lifeguard is in attendance during the high season and the pool has a shallow end at the entrance and moves round the bend into deep end.

Within the gardens there is a hut with toilet facilities and there are showers available around the pool.

Car Parking
The La Mata development is accessible via electronic gates and parking is available.

Car hire is relatively inexpensive and can easily be booked via the Internet prior to your departure, in readiness for collection immediately upon your arrival at your chosen airport.

Beach Access
The stunning beach is only 300 meters (a 5 minute walk) away from La Mata.

On leaving La Mata simply cross over and through to the beach.

Other Information

Bus Services
An excellent bus service is around the corner from La Mata and can take you to the fantastic local places of interest. For example, the bus can be taken to the busy part of Mojacar Playa where there are beach bars, restaurants and water sports to Garrucha, a very pleasurable fishing port with a grand promenade and mouth watering restaurants. Mojacar Village is oustanding and looks like a lit up Christmas Tree in the mountain, Vera is one for the senses and it`s market will definitely keep you occupied!

Laundry
There is a weekly laundry service available and it is asked that you please bring your own beach towels (bath towels are provided at La Mata).

Children
Apart from the pool at La Mata and the easily accessible beach, there are many fantastic parks all along the Playa including many water sports and mini-golf plus there is also an Aqua Park in Vera and Mini Hollywood is brilliant for kids.

A highchair and cot will be available for use at La Mata and you can stock the large freezer with loads of ice creams and ice lollies!

Smoking
It is respectfully asked that smoking is done outside only please (there is a table and chairs on the balcony).

Safe
There is a safe available at the apartment and when you have a meet and greet (for pass over of keys and remote to the electronic gates upon arrival) the code will be provided to you.

Airports
Almeria Airport is approx 45 minutes away by car. Murcia is approx 1.5 hours away by car.
Alicante is 2 hours away by car.
