General Description
Quinta dos Três Rios "More than a Bed and Breakfast" offers you a magnificent rural location where peace and tranquility reign. The house is situated on the east side of �Parada de Gonta�, between Viseu and Tondela, in the center of the Dão wine region.

Six cosy guest suites provide privacy and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for our visitors. More than a bed and breakfast, we welcome guests to share our home and take meals with the family.

Quinta dos Três Rios organises parties in this wonderful setting with breathtaking views over the Rio Pavia.
Private wine tours to the Dão and Douro wine regions

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The Oaks and The Pavia suites have a double and two singles the other 4 suites all have doubles. All bathrooms are ensuite and most have showers.

Living Areas
Each suite has its own large sitting room with armchairs and sofa.
Complimentary wines and goodies in the mini fridge.

Kitchen / Dining
Two suites(The Oaks and The Pavia) have their own kitchen (Pavia has the larger one)
The main breakfast room has open fire for the winter mornings.
Evening meals are taken in the owners main kitchen and is 3 courses with wine for 20� per person

Outside
The Quinta (Farm) has its own working vineyard 1.9 Ha and the total area is 7 Ha.
We have 500 meters of the beautiful River Pavia.100 + Olive trees and our own kitchen garden

Location
If you come from the airports:
From Oporto airport. Take the A1 SOUTH towards Lisbon for about 40 mins and at the Aveiro junction take A25 due EAST sign posted to VISEU. After about 40 mins turn off at Junction 17 follow the signs for COIMBRA and join the (IP3). A further 10 mins you join 2-lane road and 3 km on you will see the sign P.de Gonta.

From Lisbon Airport, approximately 250km. Take A1, direction-Coimbra, then join the IP3, towards Viseu, and turn off at the PARADA DE GONTA junction (after Tondela).

If you come from Spain via Vilar Formoso border:
Entering Portugal, via Vilar Formoso, take A25 (old IP5) until you reach Viseu, then turn on to IP3, towards Tondela, and turn off at the PARADA DE GONTA junction.

And now? How to find �Quinta dos Três Rios�
After you leave the IP3, follow the sign to Parada de Gonta. Turn right at the first junction and go straight up the hill and down through the village. Continue out of the village, round a sharp left hand bend (with chevrons), and carry on down the hill for about 200 metres. Our entrance is through the large green gates and railings on the right.

Changeover is flexable. All major credit cards taken. We do however prefer Debit cards if possible please (not AMEX)

Wine tasting tour including 3 nights accommodation at Quinta dos Três Rios

Day One
Arrival at the Quinta, light lunch and a look at local winemaking in the Village of Parada de Gonta. Time to relax and then an evening meal with us.

Day Two
The Dão wine tour. Visit 2 /3 vineyards in the morning with lunch at the restaurant at Quinta de Cabriz. Afternoon, visit very traditional vineyard. Dinner with us.

Day Three
Visit the Douro region, 2 vineyards in the morning and a very traditional Portuguese lunch in Favious.Visit a further vineyard in the afternoon and then back to dinner at the Quinta.

Day Four
Depart after breakfast.

The dinner at Quinta dos Três Rios is three courses and includes wine. Pre dinner drinks and canapés with Port at the end of the dinner are also included in the package. Specials for Vegetarians also available.

Price is based per couple and includes a double suite, breakfast, all other meals and all taxes.

Use of your own car is required.

For a group of 8 people a people carrier can be hired at cost plus fuel

Further nights stay can be purchased at a rate of � 90 per day, per couple, on a B&B basis.

Price per couple is � 700, April 1st to September 30th 2010
