General Description
Mayors house- Veliko Tarnovo sits in a sleepy hamlet 20km away from `The Great Veliko Tarnovo Town,` it offers sleeping facilities for 6 people, with large living room, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It is the ideal location to explore the historic towns of Veliko Tarnovo and Tryavna or just relax and enjoy the natural ambience and clean air. The area is ideal for walking, mountain biking, fishing or try your hand at painting. With horses and ponies on site for your use, you can enjoy the experience of trekking within a beautiful rural location. The house is accessed via a 7km mountain road. Winter time is spectacular when the forests become laden with snow and the mountains come alive to the sounds of Jackals under clear starlit nights. The resident wildlife becomes easier to see and encounters with Deer, Boar and Wildcats are an almost daily event. Although the horseriding can become limited during this season we still keep the days full with skiing or hot springs.

Location
Nestled within the central Bulkan range is the former capital Veliko Tarnovo. Unique in its style of architecture and antique houses. Historically the site of numerous uprisings and home to the famous Tsarevets medieval citadel. The town is host to various restored workshops producing traditional crafts. Equidistant from the house are the fully restored towns of Tryavna, host to a number of museums and Bojentsi itself been a working museum. Also within easy reach is Gabrovo self proclaimed humour capital of the world but better known for its production of antique style and modern furniture. With the local traditional mehanas and restaurants being of a very high standard and within easy access. A guaranteed culinary delight awaits.
