Location
Located in a rural hamlet within easy walking distance to Praa Sands, approximately a mile of glorious sandy beach. The coastal path can be accessed from the hamlet from which you can walk to Porthleven, a picturesque fishing harbour or Prussia Cove, a series of coves and beaches named after an infamous smuggler. Trevurvas is ideally located for exploring south west Cornwall being located equidistant between the stunning Lizard peninsular and the rugged Lands End; within 15 minutes of Penzance, Helston, St Ives and Hayle. Slightly further afield are the larger towns of Truro and Falmouth, or visit the Scilly Isles accessed from Penzance by ferry or helicopter.

Further details
Large supermarkets can be found in Penzance and Helston; with other small shops at Ashton, Porthleven and a great farm shop on the way to Penzance at Rosudgeon. Newlyn is one of the best places to buy fish in Cornwall! Visit any of the wet fish shops along the front; we can particularly recommend Trelawney which is open from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm on Saturday. Alternatively a fish van from Newlyn visits Trevurvas at 9.30am every Tuesday.
Penzance is only 10 miles away where you can find numerous high street shops, galleries, supermarkets, petrol stations, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and leisure centre. Further afield we would recommend a visit to the Gurnards Head in Treen, near Zennor for simple, locally sourced produce in a stunning environment (Sunday lunch is a particular favourite). Others we would recommend include: Hazlephron Inn in Gunwallow on the Lizard. The Old Yard Restaurant at relowarren, on the Lizard. Cadgwith Inn at Cadgwith, on the Lizard. Tregilly Wartha near Constantine. The Pandora Inn at Mylor Bridge, nr Falmouth. The Ship Inn in Porthleven. Kota Restaurant in Porthleven.
There are so many attractions within easy driving distance of Trevurvas including: Minack Theatre, a stunning out-door theatre built into the cliffs at Porthcurno. St Michaels Mount. This is truly unique; a tiny, rocky island filled with astonishing history and natural beauty, yet still a living, working community of people. Activities include: Walking. The coastal path runs the whole of the Cornish coast, so you are never far from a footpath. Fishing. You can arrange fishing trips from many of the harbours in the area, the closest being Porthleven.
