General Description
Large house tranquilly situated at the Helsingborg beach with Denmark and Shakespeares Hamlet-castle 2 miles across the sea (20 minutes by ferry!) bordering a large beech forest nature reserve, still 1 mile from city centre and with 200 yards to closest restaurant! Large sun terraces facing the sea, 2 garden showers. Beautiful garden with trampoline and a 6 car parking.
The beach promenade takes you past a lot of tasty restaurants straight to the Marina with continental feeling and to the picturesque Old town. Walking north along the beach or along the scenic ridge of the nature reserve behind the house for a mile and Sofiuero Castle and Gardens welcomes you. Our king spent all his summers there as a child and the previous king gave the castle to the city in his will 1973. It has the most renowned rhododendron parc in Europe, attracting 10 000nds of visitors in May. In Helsingborg deep sea fishing is available from the pier!!! The cultural and gastronomical life is rich and the area is famous for craftsmen and dramatic nature. We have 2 palomino ponies to rent at a surcharge in a stable next to Sofiero Castle.

The house is filled with beautiful paintings and pottery and very familiar and personal. Lounge with fireplace and sattelite TV. Large sun terraces.

Kitchen / Dining
A small stove and microwave is available in the diningroom,
2 fridges, 2 dish washing mascines!

Swimming Pool
Helsingborg has a beach front separated from Denmark by a 2 mile wide strait with ferries crossing 3 times an hour. The bathing water is clean with sand beach and a pier with public saunas as well as a quality food restaurant only 200 yards from the beach outside the property! We also have two garden showers to cool of when lazing at our large sun decks.

Location
From ferry and train station 1 mile along Drottninggatan north you get straight to Sundets Pärla, or by bus 219.From Copenhagen airport go by train or car north 30 miles to Helsingör, cross with ferry to Helsingborg. This is much cheaper and half the distance as compared to the bridge via Malmö!

Changeover Details
Can be booked for one week up to 12 weeks, changing day Sunday.
Inspection of cleaning at 11 am. New guests arrive at 3 pm.

Extra Details
No pets.
No smoking in house or garden.
20 % of the total amount will be charged to your VISA,Mastercard or Euorocard when booking, this is not refundable. The reminding 80 % must be paid in full 6 weeks in advance, or at once if booking closer to arrival.
