Property Details

General Description
Le Refuge is a collection of traditional converted farm buildings set in its own grounds on the edge of the farming hamlet of Rouffenac in the beautiful, largely undiscovered Aveyron Department of South West France.

We have four fully equipped Gites and two `en suite` Chambre d` Hotes and a large 12 x 5 metere swimming pool, and for that extra little bit of indulgance, a jaquzzi attached to the pool.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
We have 3 gites whcih have 2 bedrooms and also a single bedroom gite available.

The 2 bedroom gites have one double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

All the beds are comfortable and the linen is provided

Living Areas
Each of our gites has an open plan lounge and dining area with double bed settee and fully equipped kitchen including gas cooker, microwave, fridge, coffee machine etc dining table and a television. We also supply an Iron and ironing board and there is a comunual washing machine in our washroom

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is at the back of the house and has great views of the valley. The pool area is fenced and gated

Outside
At the back of the gites we have a 1 hectaire garden where you can picnic under the shade of the weeping willow or enjoy a swimm in our pool.

We have a large converted communual barn where you can enjoy a game of pool on our full sized pool table, table tennis or simply relax and read the books from our libary.

Location
Le Refuge is just a 40 minute drive from Rodez Airport, and has beautiful un-spoilt views of the open countryside and valley. It is the perfect location for you to discover the many delights that the Aveyron has to offer.

Changeover Details
Our normal changeover day is Saturday, however, except for the months of July and August we are able to offer you variable changeover days when you can expect to pay less for your midweek flights and ferry crossings. Weekend breaks are also available.

Extra Details
As we are in a farming community, we can usually arrange for you to visit one of the local sheep or cattle farms and we can also arrange flights over the region form our local airport which is just 9 kms from us.
