Property Details

General Description
Old farm house in the countryside, in the south of Burgundy, France, near the river Saône. It is renovated inside.
The house is independent with a fenced garden. It has 3 floors, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, central heating, parking space, garden furniture and barbecue. Animals are welcome.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There are bedrooms, one on the first floor with its bathroom, and 2 beds, the other on the 2nd floor, under the roof, with windows. 1 double bed.
The bigger bathroom is on the ground floor.

Living Areas
On the ground floor is the living-room of ca. 50 m2 with TV and DVD-Player. It has 2 couches, 1 bed-couch 2 2 armchairs.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen is about 50 m2 with cooker, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave.

Outside
The garden is about 2500 m2, fenced and with a covered parking space, a terrace, trees, garden furniture and barbecue.

Location
The gîte is located a bit outside the village Ormes, about in the middle between the towns of Mâcon and Chalon-sur-Saône. These are each about 30 km from Ormes. Louhans is eastwards abert 30 km.
Cluny, Beaune, the Côte`Or with its vineyards as well as Dijon and Lyon with its airport (00 km). The highway A6, exit Tournus, is about 10 km away.

Changeover Details
The house is rented weekly, from saturday afternoon to saturday morning.
Rent: 350 euro/week; 50 euro/night. + 50 euro for cleaning.

Extra Details
The house is in a rural location. There are some shops, bakery, a mini-supermarket in the nearby village of Simandre. Other, bigger shops in Cuisery or Tournus, about 10 km. There are possibilities for activities such as fishing, golf, horse-riding, biking , boat-renting, paragliding. Medieval villages and towns, museums, markets and flea markets in the summertime, an adventure park near Mâcon. A set of golf clubs is available, as well as some bicycles.
