General Description
We live at the "Reef and Rainforrest Coast" in "Tropical North Queensland" 60 km north of Cairns and 15 km south of Port Douglas. We have 2 Bungalows for rent in a quiet and private atmosphere. It is a very convenient point to explore the surroundings with their natural wonders like day trips into the Daintree Rainforrest, snorkel or dive the Great Barrier Reef, circle the tablelands, have a ride on Kuranda Skyrail, watch crocodiles in the wilds of the Daintree River and much more. If you come back after a day full of experiences into your accommodation, our swimming pool area offers relaxation and tranquility. Here you have the opportunity to barbecue your own meals.

Living Areas
Our bungalows also equipped with 2 single beds next to each other, lounge, table, chairs, TV, microwave, fridge, kettle, dishes and all cutlery. Last but not least we like to say, that we would love to share our little paradise for a few days or weeks in the year with nature lovers. Our latest addition is a 2 bedroom bungalow with the absolute highlight of a very private heated spa pool suitable for 7 people. Imagine sitting in this jacuzzi surrounded by nature and full moon with a glass of wine an experience you always will remember.

Outside
Here you will find the swimmingpool, BBQ, chairs, table and sunlounges. If you are a smoker, you are welcome to smoke outside. Our Bungalows are all non smoking inside.

Location
When you leave Cairns International Airport and reach the turn off at the Capn`t Cook Highway please turn right towards Mossman / Mareeba / Port Douglas. At the forth roundabout (Smithfield) take the second exit Mossman / Port Douglas. From now on always straight ahead through several roundabouts until you reach "Ellies Beach". It is now exactly 22 km until you reach on your left hand side Reynolds Road. Please turn in here and go up 700 m, than you will see on your right hand side a sign "Mountain View Lodge" turn right and feel welcome at destination. Important: If you accidentally pass Reynolds Road and you see on your right a big sign "Thala Beach Lodge" you been to far, please turn around, go back about 600 m and now Reynolds Road is on your right hand side.

Extra Pricing Information
1 to 3 nights AU$ 120.00 and 4 to 6 nights AU$ 110.00. Our prices are in Australian Dollar for 2 People, included is Power, Gas for cooking and 10 % GST, once a week service with fresh towels and linen. Price for 2 bedroom Bungalow min. 5 nights AU$ 130.00 a night / 2 people. Extra Person AU$ 33.00 per night. More or less nights: Price on application. One night deposit is required as confirmation for a booking. In case of a cancellation we charge one night accommodation as administration fee, which we give as a credit if you book back in again within 12 month. We hope that sounds fair.
