General Description
Bright and peaceful, La Roc Bruyère is a modern two-storey stone house built in the Provençal style and set in a large garden planted with olive, cherry and apricot trees. The 10x5 metre pool has a jetstream for serious swimmers, a balneotherapy or jacuzzi feature, sunbeds at the poolside for sunbathers, and a pool house with a shower and toilet. It is also protected from the mistral winds by a low wall. The terrace at the back of the house is shaded with foliage and has outdoor tables and a barbecue, making it ideal for dinner out by the pool. The well-kept garden has plenty of shady spots under the trees. All within walking distance from the lovely, unspoiled medieval village of St Saturnin les Apt.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The villa has three Bedrooms and sleeps 8 people comfortably.
The Master Bedroom on the ground floor is independent from the other rooms, and has an attached bathroom with bath tub and shower enclosure
Bedroom 2, upstairs, has single bunk beds - ie: sleeps 2 - and a convertible sofa sleeping two people.Total : 4 people. Perfect for children, but also comfortable for children and/or adults.
Bedroom 3, upstairs has twin beds.
There is a second bathroom for Bedroom 2 and 3.
There is a cloakroom in the entrance with toilet and washbasin.

Living Areas
The living room is bright and spacious, with a 3 seater sofa and 2 armchairs, a TV, a DVD/CD player, It has a dining area, and opens on a glassed-in veranda. There are some DVDs, books and guides for your pleasure and convenience.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen is fully equipped and opens on the veranda,
There is a deep freezer in the garage.

Swimming Pool
Beautiful swimming pool 10 x 5 with jet stream for serious swimmers, and balneotherapy or jaccuzi feature. There is an alarm for the protection of children and lounge chairs for sunbathing. The pool house has a shower and toilet.

Outside
The house is set in a large garden with fruit trees, in a quiet, residential area.
The entrance to the property is through a door and an electrical gate with remote control and videophone.
The terrace at the back of the house is shaded with foliage and has outdoor tables and a barbecue, making it ideal for dining out by the pool.

Location
The authentic village of Saint Saturnin les Apt, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon, is nestled along the base of a long, low cliff, with two 17th century windmills and the ruins of a medieval château keeping watch. Walking through the central streets, you`ll discover beautiful old houses adorned with sculptured porches and intricately decorated doors and window frames. Excellent pastries and breads are available at the local patisserie, and other provisions can be picked up at the grocery stores. There are several restaurants, cafés, and bars in the village. A visit to the open market is essential, where local produce, cheeses, meats, and flowers are available. There is a public swimming pool and a tennis court, and a lovely lake, nearby. There are wonderful walks or cycling promenades in the surrounding hills and the area abounds with charming villages like Gordes, Roussillon and Bonnieux, all seen in the latest Peter Mayle film starring Russel Crowe `A Good Life.`

Changeover Details
Changeover is usually on Saturdays, but can be negociated according to bookings.
A non-refundable deposit of a 25 per cent of the rental cost is required to confirm a reservation. The balance is due four weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of 250 Euros is required on arrival. Additional deposits include 250 Euros a stay child deposit.

Baby cot available, as well as baby high chair
Only the ground floor is accessible to a wheelchair.Bed linen and towels are of good quality and charged a fee of 10 Euros a head. Weekly cleaning is included, as well as weekly maintenance of the equipment and the swimming pool.
The house is fitted with air conditioning units in all the rooms and air conditioning charges are applicable for summer bookings.
