General Description
Welcome to Chateau Les Peaux

Set in the Anjou region, within a few steps of the Deux Sevres.
Les Peaux first dates back to 1122 in the monastery records of Cholet, with historic links to the 7th crusade and Louis IXth. Set within four hectares with a popular edge drive and stone pigeonnier.

Original features include two stone spiral staircases, with buried treasure tales.
Original terracotta floor tiles, feature low beams and magnificent ceiling detail at top of first spiral stairs, tuffeau stone fireplaces.

The chateau chapel is at the top of the stairs with the remains of the bell tower above.

We are ideally situated close to the International Go-Karting Circuit, Zoo and Rose gardens at Doue La Fontaine, Historical Montreuil Bellay. 30 minutes from Saumur and the chateaux of the Loire, 1 hour from Futurescope and the Pescalis fishing lakes. There are also many golf courses with the department.

We are surrounded by Vineyards, Sunflowers and lush countryside, for total relaxation and memorable stay.

You can be as active or relaxed as you wish

IOLO MORGANNWG SUITE

This suite consists of double bedstead, two bedside tables, single robe, chest of drawers, one single bedsteads and night stand, all in the new Monet reproduction furniture range. The bed linen consists of luxury blue toile duvet cover, pillow shams, quilted bedspreads, bolsters, frilled cushions and above bed feature.

This room can be used as a family room (only children over 8 due to spiral staircases and moat) The suite is situated up one flight of spiral stairs.
There are Tea and Coffee facilities in each room.
The room has original features, with tuffeau fireplace and Original terracotta floor tiles.
The en-suite consists of a power multi jet shower with basin and toilet.
Suitable for 2-3 persons.*This room has original feature low beams

DEWI SANT SUITE

This suite consists of double bedstead, two bedside tables, single robe, chest of drawers, one singlebedstead and night stand, all in the new Monet reproduction furniture range. The bed linen consists of luxury Beige toile duvet cover, pillow shams, quilted bedspreads, bolsters, frilled cushions and above bed feature.
There are Tea and Coffee facilities in each room.

The room is situated in the original chapel, in the chateau, two spiral staircases up into the tower.
The original Tuffeau fireplace remains it also has the original terracotta floor tiles, with two large windows overlooking the courtyard.
The private bathroom is down one flight of spiral steps
And consists of a power multi jet shower with basin and toilet.[two toile kimono’s are provided for clients use]
Suitable for two persons

Outside
We are situated in the country within all local atractions. The Chateau has its own grounds of 10 acres and has a moat which surrounds the property. The guests have access to a pool and the grounds during their stay.

Location
We are situated in a village called Saint Pierre a Champ. This village is near Due La Fontaine which has the famous international Zoo. The largest Town to us is Saumur which is on the Loire River and famous for the Anjour wine areas and Horse shows.
