General Description
Beautiful contemporary villa set in a tiny hamlet just outside the market town of Jonzac. This house has been made fully accessible by wheelchair whilst retaining a comfortable and homely atmosphere. There is central heating for winter months and air conditioning for the summer.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
There are three bedrooms, one with an art deco double suite and the other two with twin beds.
There are two bathrooms. One has a shower cubicle, full sized bath and a hand basin, the other is a wet room with a large shower area with a built in seat, plus a hand basin and a loo. This room was specially designed for easy access by wheelchair users but is in fact a very luxurious addition to the house. There is a further separate toilet.

Living Areas
There are two lounges one with a large sofa and chairs plus a dining table and chairs. There is a TV and DVD player and a phone for receiving incoming calls and making local calls free of charge. This room also has air conditioning. The second lounge has a sofa bed which means the house can sleep up to eight. Both rooms have very easy access to the terraces or garden through patio doors.

Kitchen / Dining
The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a dishwasher, oven and hob with extractor fan. There is a fridge freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a micro wave. There is sufficient crockery and cutlery to serve 12 so you can have your friends to dinner!! there is a separate laundry room witha washing machine and tumble dryer for winter use.

Outside
Terraces surround the house as well large lawned areas. There are several fruit trees in the garden and guests are invited to help themselves to whatever is in season. The garden is fully enclosed and has lockable gates making it very safe for young children.

Location
Surrounded by vines and apple orchards the house also has French neighbours. The area is renowned for the production of Cognac and is close to the Estuary with its quaint fishing villages and is near to the western seaside resort of Royan with its fabulous beaches, great shopping and famous zoo.

Changeover Details
Changeover day is Saturday. In winter this can be altered as necessary.

Extra Details
This house was designed for and is owned by a wheelchair user who lives 10 minutes away. An extensive local guide gives information on the local area, places to visit and restaurants and includes accessibility, parking and toilets which many of our previous guests have found invaluable.
