General Description
Luxury Bed & Breakfast situated in the beautiful Perigord Limousin National Park, Château de Marotte is an ideal base for exploring the Perigord Vert region and the Dordogne, Charente and Limousin regions.
Château de Marotte was built in 1870 and is set amongst 12 acres of its own parkland and includes 2 acres of woods and a 1 acre fishing lake stocked with Carp, Roach and Trout.
To ensure your comfort, we provide high quality, luxurious linen, toiletries and bathrobes. Fresh fruit and bottled mineral water is supplied upon your arrival.
We offer a host of activities including fishing, golf, motoring, cycling, walking, painting. horse riding and of course relaxing!

We offer 2 opportunities for accommodation, our relaxing double chambre with outstanding views over the village, or our recently refurbished ‘grenier’ which offers self contained luxury with its own bathroom, lounge and dining area and sleeps up to 6 people. From this room, the views are simply breathtaking!
Tariffs:
Double Room - 55.00 euros per night inc breakfast (based on two persons sharing) - an extra single bed is available in this room.
Grenier Suite - 85.00 euros per night inc breakfast (based on two persons sharing) - This room will sleep up to 6 people.
Additional persons - 15 euros per night

For those wishing to simply relax, you are free to roam our grounds or fish at our beautiful lake (a small charge is levied and fishing equipment can be hired).

Location
The house is just on the edge of the beautiful village of Saint Saud Lacoussiere where you will find a variety of Cafes, Restaurants and the local Boulangerie and Charcuterie along with a General Store and Pharmacist. Saint Saud is also where you will find the ‘Hostellerie St Jaques’ - one of the top Restaurants in South West France!

Large bustling weekly Markets are held close by in Piegut, Thivier, St Pardoux and Nontron all offering a taste of local produce and crafts and the opportunity to mix with locals and soak up the local atmosphere.
Interesting Château and a wide range of cultural activities are nearby whilst the larger centres of Perigueux, Limoges and Angouleme are all within one hours drive.
