General Description
A unique Hamlet of traditional Cornish craftsmen`s cottages
Tremaine Green self catering holiday cottages are situated between Looe and Polperro, only 3 miles from the spectacular SE Cornish coast, beaches and smuggler’s coves.

Fowey and Polruan are only a short drive away. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the glorious National Trust houses and gardens are all within easy reach.

This holiday cottage has one half-tester double bed, bathroom, kitchen-diner and lounge.

Living Areas
Our 11 self catering holiday cottages are all prepared to the same high standard. Each has its own unique features and all share the peace and tranquillity of our wonderful hamlet, set in award wining grounds.

Kitchen / Dining
All our self-catering cottages are well equipped and include a television, video recorder, DVD player, electric cooker, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, ironing facilities and hairdryer as standard. Holiday cottages sleeping 4 or more have dishwashers and fridge freezers. All our self catering holiday cottages are double glazed and have oil fired central heating. A cot is available for all holiday cottages and all except Mariners Cottage and Carpenters Cottage have space for a folding occasional bed (see useful info). Our Self Catering Holiday Accommodation is graded annually. Details of each self catering holiday cottage are as follows:

To make your stay in our holiday cottages more enjoyable there are a range of facilities on site for your exclusive use, in our award winn ing grounds:
All weather hard tennis court, swingball, putting.
Games Room with table tennis, pool table, bagatelle and dartboard.
Miniature ponies, pygmy goats, ducks etc.
Covered barbecues facing onto the Green.
Children`s play area with Wendy house, climbing frame, swing and slide etc.
Utility room with washing machines, tumble drier and shoe cleaning equipment.
Sun loungers. Clothes lines.
Cots and high chairs available and babysitting service can be arranged.
Payphone. Ample Car parking.
Library of videos, DVDs and books.
Milk, bread, vegetables and newspapers available to order locally.

Location
Tremaine Green Holiday Cottages are in an idyllic location. Tremaine Green is situated between Looe and Polperro only 3 miles from the spectacular SE Cornish coast. A mile away is the village of Pelynt (pronounced Plint), a medieval agricultural settlement with village shops, a pleasant pub, licensed restaurant, Anglican and Methodist churches, together with a holy well and Iron Age earth works.

Polperro, Looe and Fowey (by ferry) are all within a short distance. Within half an hour’s drive there is an abundance of interesting places to visit. Comfortable day trips will take you to all of Cornwall’s and most of Devon’s picturesque spots.



A mile away is the village of Pelynt where you will find The Jubilee Inn, a 16th Century pub with good food. Also in Pelynt you will find The Dagger Restaurant, a post-office / village shop and a local butcher’s shop and convenience store.

Changeover Details
Peak season from June to September and Easter changeover is on Saturdays: Arrive from 3m, depart by 10am.

Short breaks and long weekends available from October to May: except Christmas, New Year and Easter.
