Property Details

General Description
Old Priory parts of which date back to the 14th Century. Many of the old features have been restored and married with modern conveniences to create a beautiful home. Beamed ceilings throughout, large tuffau fireplaces with large rooms. Large house generously spread out sleeping up to 21 people comfortably.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
The bedrooms are divinded in sections: 1st floor has a double, twin and single sharing a bathroom. The 2nd floor has a double and twin sharing a bathroom. At the top of the house there is a double room with its own shower room.
At the other side of the house there are 2 doubles (1 with single bed) sharing bathroom, and another 2 double sharing a bathroom. At the end of this corridor there is an extra child`s bed. You have to go through the double with single to access the last 2 bedrooms. There is also a shower room downstairs. Each bath/shower room has toilet.
House will sleep 21 people (adults and children) in its 10 bedrooms. It has 4 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms.

Living Areas
Large living room with open fire, antique furniture, a multitude of books, TV (french stations), DVD and video player. Will seat 10-15 people

Kitchen / Dining
Well equipped compact kitchen with 4 ring electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, large fridge with seperate freezer compartment, dishwasher. Also extra gas cooker, electric oven and fridge in back kitchen with table seating 10 people. Also washing machine and dryer in back kitchen.
Independent dining room with large table seating 20 poeple intimately. Outdoor dining also available with a number of tables and chairs.

Swimming Pool
beautiful 5x10metre pool with roman steps down into it. Non heated, salt water filtration system. Pool open from 10am to 7pm. Usage outside of these times by request only.

Outside
Large garden surrounding the house with swimming pool, tennis court, swings and garden furniture. You have use of the pool from 10am until 7pm.- non heated with salt water filtration system. My parents live off to one side of the site and are there to assist you. Lake for fishing within a 15 minute walk. Duckpond completely fenced off to the front of the house.

Location
Located in the countyside yet only 10km from Chateau Gontier which should have all your daily shopping needs in its 3 supermarkets and street market every Thursday morning.
Nearest villages have bar and boulangerie. Surrounding countryside is a mix of young forest (lots of wildlife), horses and a little tillage. The house is off a county road with rarely more than a dozen cars a day and so is ideal for a break away from the noise of everyday life - a little piece of heaven.

Changeover Details
high season: Saturday afternoon arrival (after 4pm) to Saturday morning departure (by 10am).
