This property rents out as a Bed and Breakfast on the beautiful Island of Gili Meno, Indonesia. The property only accommodates 2 persons - so you have the property to yourself.The island is a great escape for honeymooners or the person who just wants to get away from it all. The island is 1km X 2km with no motorised transport - so you walk, bicycle or use the odd horse drawn cart. There is a friendly local community of about 450 people. One Bedroom with kingsize bed and daybed, 2 bathrooms with toilet, basin and shower - one under a gazebo and one open air - under the stars!

Living Areas
3 large outside gazebos. 8m X 6.5m with day beds and table, smaller 4m X 4m gazebo with daybed for relaxing and another 2m X 2m gazebo on the beach. The kindsize daybed can be made up with linen should you wish to sleep outside.

Large dining table on the outside Gazebo where breakfast and any meals are served.

Situated on the NE side of Gili Meno, which forms part an archipelago of 3 small islands known as the Gilis just NW of Lombok Island near Bali

Changeover Details
Arrival after 12pm, departure 10.30 am. First boat off the island is at about 8am from Gili Meno to Lombok. Fast Boat to Bali leaves from Gili Trawangan at about 10.30am or 12.30pm

Extra Details
This location is fantastic for Scuba Diving and Snorkelling. There are a few dive companies operating on the island.

The easiest most hasslefree way is to take a speed boat direct from Bali which takes about 2 and a half hours. We can make bookings for transportation via boat on your behalf. Cost about Rp650000 per person one way from Bali to Gili Trawangan then you need to charter a boat to GIli Meno about Rp195 000 per boat.
All fresh water is shipped to the island. There is a main generator on the island and since last year there is 24 hour electricity. These services are occassionally interupted - this however out of our control. There is no back up power facility on the property. If the power goes out it - IT GOES OUT!!!!There is a well water system on the property which you can use as an alternative to the water delivered by boat. if you are going to get upset by the occasional power outage or on the rare occasion the boat delivering the fresh water not being able to get over the reef due to the ocean being too rough or low. PLEASE A REMOTE ISLAND IS DEFINATELY NOT FOR YOU AND PLEASE RATHER STAY IN A FIRST WORLD DESTINATION where there is infrastructure with back ups!!!!!
The television is for watching DVDs there is no reception at Shack58.
All payments for bookings to be paid in full via PAYPAL. Bookings confirmed on receipt of payment. Bookings will be held for 3 days on our system without payment - thereafter they will be cancelled and dates made available in the system again.
