Nerja lies at the foot of the mountains at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, just 45 minutes from Malaga. Airport, along the new main highway. Nerja`s centrepiece is the Balcon de Europa, a palm promenade with superb views of the coastline. There are no modern high rise developments to mar Nerja`s character. Within the town itself, there is a handful of small sandy coves and the main Burriana Beach is only 5 min walk from the bungalow (excellent sea view from bungalow roof terrace). The town centre is only 15/20 minutes walk away and there are a large variety of lovely restaurants and bars (including Tapas Bars).
